Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are all set to unite for the sixth time with actioner King. Despite announcing her second pregnancy, the actress is completing her professional commitments and has headed to South Africa to shoot for the film. Adding to the excitement, images from the sets of King have been leaked, showing SRK and Deepika in glamorous avatars and leaving fans intrigued. Days after Siddharth Anand's request, another visual of the actors shooting for a dance number has gone viral.
The on-screen couple were spotted at the beach, shooting a song-and-dance sequence. Visuals from the shoot, going viral online, show the duo dressed in breezy, neutral-toned outfits, walking towards each other before performing choreography against a golden sunset.
Shah Rukh, on the other hand, has also been seen shooting scenes in a car. Reports previously indicated that the stars are in Cape Town to shoot an intense climax sequence.
These visuals surfaced amid filmmaker Siddharth Anand requesting fans not to circulate footage. He shared a poster on X (formerly Twitter) that read, "Request to all the fans: Please do not post or circulate any leaked multimedia from the sets of King. The team is working round the clock to ensure the best cinematic experience for everyone. Let us wait for the surprise on the big screen and for the assets to be revealed as the team of King originally intends to. Thank you for your love, support, and cooperation. Shah Rukh Khan in and as King."
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King marks Shah Rukh Khan's first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan, who makes her big-screen debut. According to reports, the film will feature SRK as a seasoned assassin operating within the dark underworld, while Suhana plays his protégé training for dangerous missions.
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the ensemble cast also includes Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal. The film, directed by Anand, is set to release on Christmas, 24 December 2026.
