The first look poster of 'Shaandaar' featuring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was released on Wednesday and the film's trailer will be out on August 11.

Soon after Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar shared the first look poster on Twitter, #ShaandaarFirstLook started trending. Here's what they tweeted:

Against the backdrop of a romantic view, Alia is seen kissing Shahid Kapoor on his cheek and an airplane is seen leaving a vapour trail depicting two hearts, similar to the teaser poster released on Tuesday.

In the teaser poster above, Alia is seen sleeping on a wooden bench, while Shahid is leaning his head on her elbow.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, 'Shaandaar' is Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's first film together. It also stars Shahid Kapoor's father Pankaj Kapur and marks the Bollywood debut of his sister Sanah Kapur.

'Shaandaar' is a romantic comedy film co-produced by Karan's Dharma Productions and Phantom Films.

The movie is based on a destination wedding. Both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia in the film and it is their quirkiness that gets them bonding.

'Shaandaar' is slated to release on Dussehra this year.
