Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput gets into trouble with Mumbai traffic cops

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput got into trouble with Mumbai traffic police recently. The star wife, who is currently enjoying time off with her daughter Misha, was fined by the cops for breaking the law.

After having a meal at a restaurant in Bandra, Mira Rajput headed towards her car when Mumbai police told her that her vehicle was parked in a 'No Parking' zone.

According to the rule, the offender has to pay a fine of Rs 2000 and Mira Rajput reportedly paid the fine without creating a ruckus.

A report in SpotboyE quotes a police official, on condition of anonymity, as saying,"Usually in matters like these stars/star wives argue to let go off the fine, but Mira was very polite and didn't hesitate to pay. The car driver has also been fined for jumping the signal in the past."

Earlier this year, Mira Rajput's comments on feminism and working mothers at a Women's Day event had stirred up controversy. Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput was criticised on social media for terming today's feminism aggressive and destructive. She had also apparently spoken less of women who choose careers over their children.

Doting hubby Shahid Kapoor, however, stood by his wife Mira Rajput's views on motherhood and feminism, and said she only spoke her mind.

On the Bollywood front, Shahid Kapoor's next project is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' that also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
