Everyone knows Shilpa Shetty Kunder and Salman Khan are good buddies (he was one of the few stars to be invited to her wedding) and that was proved by Sallu's teasing reference to Shilpa's age on her birthday today on a social networking website. The actress turned 33 today.

When Salman tweeted, "Shilpa shetty's 23rd birthday, v wish u all the love n respect u deserve, god bless n stay fit always. vil call her n wish her now," a lot of his fans thought he must have got it wrong and actually Shilpa's age was 33 and not 23. But Sallu must be pulling Shilpa's leg - typical Salman humor.

Maybe it all started with when Shilpa (currently in Macao celebrating her birthday) had tweeted in the morning, "Thank u all my twitter family,really touched by the love n wishes u all hav showered on me:)only celebrating the date not the age!;) ha ha!"

Knowing Salman and his quirky sense of humor celebrating Shilpa's "23rd" birthday must have been his way of telling the world not to ask a lady her age as it's impolite and if the lady feels younger it makes her happier! Shilpa is yet to respond to Sallu's tweet.
