Snake rescued from superstar Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai

A snake was spotted at superstar Salman Khan's popular residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai's Bandra area on Monday. Reportedly, visuals from the spot showed a snake catcher rescuing the reptile and handing it over to the authorities. Police officials were also present at the location.

A snake catcher was immediately called to Salman's residence, where the actor lives with his family, including his parents and brothers. The apartment is located near the sea in Bandra. The snake was reportedly spotted below the apartment premises. An expert quickly rescued the reptile and was seen carefully handling it before placing it inside a bag for the authorities to take away safely.

Meanwhile, back in 2021, Salman Khan was bit by a non-venomous snake at his Panvel farmhouse. He was immediately hospitalised for the same and was given timely treatment. Talking about the incident to ANI, Khan had said, "A snake had entered my farmhouse, I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice. It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalized for 6 hours...I am fine now."

Talking about Salman's professional commitments, the actor is currently working on the war drama Maatrubhumi, previously titled Battle of Galwan.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the eagerly awaited project also stars Chitrangada Singh as the female lead.

The film will depict the events of June 15, 2020, when Indian soldiers clashed with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. It will narrate the journey of Colonel Santosh Babu, played by Salman Khan, and the 16 Bihar Regiment as they enforce a disengagement agreement along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Maatrubhumi is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17.

Apart from this, Salman also has producer Dil Raju's untitled next, which will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

Recently, Salman also grabbed attention for his social media post explaining the difference between being "alone" and "lonely." Sharing a shirtless picture flaunting his abs, the actor wrote:

"By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yr self, Alone and Lonely. Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u… Ab iske aage you figure out what you need to do."
