Art, fashion and heritage went well together, as well as the Caprioskas that were being served with Shrimp and Egg in Mayonnaise sauce at a brunch organised on Sunday at fashion designer James Ferreira's century-old Khotachiwadi bungalow. Artist Paul B (that's short for Bhonsle, by the way)u00a0 exhibited Sanctum Sanctorum-II, a collection of Catholic art and alters on the first floor, while a bunch of friends and acquaintances milled around the ground floor, with happy homebody James playing perfect host. Artist Kahini Atre Merchant, actor Dolly Thakore, jewellery designer Poonam Soni, art gallery owners Praveena and Jamal Mecklai, art collector Sreela Mathai, artist Milburn Cherian were there to check out Paul's latest work, and others like Sangeeta Chopra, Marielou Phillips, Vinod Nayar and Sangeeta Khanna came because they enjoy art as much as James' contagious company. And then, fashion designer Delna Poonawalla arrived because she had heard so much about James' bungalow that she "couldn't miss the brunch for the world".
