Sunita Ahuja has seemingly taken a dig at Govinda and his rumoured relationship with Rani Swarnkar during her recent visit to Kolkata's Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Her remarks come days after Govinda was spotted with Rani at Lalbaugcha Raja. Amid the ongoing controversy, Sunita has urged women, Gen Z and the media to support her.

Sunita Ahuja addressed the media during her recent visit to a temple in Kolkata. As per Free Press Journal, she told, "I am at Dakshineswar Kali Temple to offer prayers. You all know that Goddess Kali destroys demons. I also have some demons in my life, and I want to ask Goddess Kali to destroy them as well. They are doing publicity to be in the media and limelight. So, I request media members not to support them at all.

Sunita added, "If you had to see your daughter or daughter-in-law going through this, what would you do? I want women and Gen Z to support me. What is happening to me is not good. My house is breaking down for no reason, and I want you all to take a stand for me. I request the media not to take this matter any further. Please support me. I have come here to ask Goddess Kali to see who is destroying my house. Goddess Kali destroys demons, and I want to get rid of these problems in my life."

Govinda and Rani Swarnkar spotted at Lalbaugcha Raja

This statement from Sunita comes after Govinda was spotted with his rumoured GF, Rani Swarnkar, at Lalbaugcha Raja for darshan, hours after Sunita visited. Speaking to ANI, Govinda addressed the rumours, saying, "It is not anyone's fault. This is a very strategically planned movement. Things are going to happen more. It was a part of the plan to distance me from my family and then tarnish my image in society. I never focused on anything other than my work… I kept working. Many would praise me."

Govinda asserted that his personal life should not concern anyone. "This is not a subject for anyone… even if there is an affair. I am working and maintaining a professional relationship," he said.

The actor's visit with Rani comes amid cheating allegations by wife Sunita Ahuja. The actor's wife had alleged that Govinda is romantically involved with Rani. Sunita had said that the 62-year-old actor should be ashamed of roaming around with a woman his daughter's age.
