A press conference was held to announce a âghazal day' on the occasion of late ghazal singer Jagjit Singh's birth anniversary on February 8.

On the occasion, Talat Aziz said, "Jagjit Singh should get the Bharat Ratna Award.

According to me, he has already got it, it's just a matter of the Government recognising it and I'm sure they'll do it soon."
