Film stars getting mobbed at public events is commonplace now. The popularity enjoyed by these actors is all-pervasive, so much so that celeb enthusiasts from across the world have named dishes and drinks after them. A recent instance would be that of a popular café in London that has named one of its beverages after actress Yami Gautam. What's worth noting is that this tea is called Yaam Masala Tea. HitList points out other Bollywood personalities who have had food items/drinks named after them in the recent past...

Kareena Kapoor

Bebo is said to have a soft corner for pizzas, so when an Italian joint set up shop in Delhi, it came up with one called Kareena Kapoor Size-Zero Pizza. These were the post-Tashan days when her ultra-slim body was the talk of the town. The size zero pizza is a thin crust pizza topped with finely diced chicken, red chilies, baby corn, onions and low fat cheese.

Priyanka Chopra

After Mallika, Piggy Chops became the second Bollywood actress to have a milkshake named after her at the milkshake bar, Millions of Milkshakes. This milkshake is made using banana, almonds and caramel sauce with vanilla ice cream and a splash of ginseng drink.

Huma Qureshi

Sonam Kapoor

Like Bobby Deol, Sonam too has a special cake named after her. On her 25th birthday, a mango blueberry cake made by a Mumbai-based confectionary - stuffed with ingredients such as oatmeal and real fruits - was named Sonam Special. Interestingly, the cake has no preservatives or extra sugar in it.

Mallika Sherawat

The Haryanvi bombshell is known to travel a lot and on of her trips, she visited the popular milkshake bar, Millions of Milkshakes, in West Hollywood. Here she was honoured with a milkshake named after her. Called the ‘Mallika Shake', it is made using blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and topped by chocolate sauce.

Ranbir Kapoor

During a promotional visit to Chandigarh for his film Raajneeti, Ranbir Kapoor, went to a dhaba located on the outskirts of the city. Delighted to see his favourite film star drop in at his eatery, the dhaba owner served up a special chicken dish but also named it after the Kapoor scion.

Akshay Kumar

Many actors have had food items named after them but in Akki's case, it's his character from the film Once Upon ay Time in Mumbaai Dobara that played muse. Given that some sequences from this movie were shot in a resort in Oman, this resort launched a special cocktail named Shoaibtini at an event that marked the film's release.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt, who is said to love chicken items, has a dish named after him. The dish, Chicken Sanju Baba, was named so after the actor paid a visit to a restaurant at Mohammed Ali Road. It turns out that he had suggested a recipe to the owner of the place who then added it to the menu.

Bobby Deol

This actor has a cake named after him - it's simply called Bobby Cake - at an eatery in Pali Hill. A three-tier chocolate cheesecake, its top half is filled with copious amounts of chocolate and equally delicious fruit ingredients in the thick centre. It's said to be a favourite with the Deols.
