Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has offered fans a reassuring update after photographs shared by Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar showed him without visible bandages, days after shots were fired at his vehicle in Mumbai. The new pictures surfaced after earlier images showed the actor with dressings on his chest and arm, following the October 18 incident in Juhu. Shelar visited Shroff to enquire about his well-being, sharing the photographs on social media as concerns over the actor's safety continued.
In his post, Shelar wrote, "Visited Tiger Shroff and enquired about his well-being following the unfortunate firing incident in Juhu. Such acts of violence have no place in our society. Wishing him strength and a speedy recovery." The images showed Tiger Shroff without the bandages seen in photographs released after Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the actor and his family.
According to Hindustan Times, Tiger Shroff reportedly suffered minor abrasions and was examined by doctors before being discharged. The latest pictures offer a visual update, although they do not independently establish the full extent of his recovery.
The firing took place on October 18 near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu, where Tiger Shroff had gone to play football. According to reports, the gunmen opened fire at his vehicle, leaving his driver with a bullet injury. Another person nearby was also injured.
Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde condemned the attack after meeting Shroff and said the Mumbai Police Commissioner had formed teams to trace those responsible. The incident prompted a police investigation, with officers examining CCTV footage and pursuing leads to identify the people involved. Authorities have also been looking into claims circulating on social media, which should not be treated as confirmed unless verified by investigators.
Following the incident, Tiger Shroff's team issued a statement cautioning people against spreading unverified claims and AI-generated videos about the actor. According to Moneycontrol, the team clarified that Shroff had not issued a statement or authorised communications regarding the incident. It urged media organisations and social media users to verify information before sharing it. As the investigation continues, Shelar's photographs provide fans with a welcome update. However, the focus remains on establishing the circumstances surrounding the firing and ensuring those responsible are brought to justice.
