TV star Kuwajerwalla replaces Oberoi in Kingdom of Dreams
Kingdom Of Dreams, the musical extravaganza conceived along the lines of Broadway musicals and starring Vivek Oberoi, will now have television star Hussain Kuwajerwalla in the main role. Vivek had earlier said he was enthusiastic about going back to theatre and had even started rehearsals for the play in New Delhi. But after Prince becoming a hit and with Ram Gopal Varma needing more dates of Vivek for Raktacharitra, the actor had to opt out of Kingdom Of Dreams. It was then that Javed Akhtar, who is scripting the musical, suggested Hussain's name to the producers.
Hussain who proved that he is an amazing dancer on a popular dance reality show a few years back, is elated at the opportunity.
Kingdom Of Dreams revolves around a Bollywood hero typical of the '70s and has Isha Sharvani and Gauhar Khan as the leading ladies.
