In Kolkata, Anamika Khanna, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Kiran Uttam Ghosh are considered nothing short of design demi-Gods who've put the City of Joy on the Indian fashion map. Sabyasachi and Anamika are equally well-known for not getting along, and so, to get the two to host a party together, was nothing short of an "urban legend".u00a0

Common friends Madhu and Harsh Neotia decided to celebrate the first anniversary of their multi-cuisine restaurant Afraa at Salt Lake, with the three in tow. The white-themed soiree had Anamika take care of the elegant du00e9cor done up in white roses and candles, Kiran (dressed in a halter gown worn the "wrong way round") put together a menu of Smoked Salmon Bruschettas, Cream and Herb toasts, Asparagus wrapped in cheese and black olives.

Sabyasachi came prepared with a music sheet and took charge of the DJ console to play 80s music like Aap Jaisa Koi with some raunchy numbers including Choli ke peeche. "The weirdest moment was when Madhu had to drag Anamika and Sabyasachi to cut the cake. The awkwardness was palpable, and they scooted as soon as the cake was cut," said a guest who didn't wish to be named.

Kolkata designers Dev R Nil and Kallol Datta were others invitees at the party.
