The much-awaited release of Dhurandhar 2 is just around the corner. The months-long wait of the fans is about to end, as many unsolved questions will be answered as the future of Lyari unfolds. In the almost 4-hour-long spectacle, Aditya Dhar promises to pack a punch. After shattering records with the first part, Ranveer Singh-starrer is now eyeing to crush major box office numbers with its thunderous run. Amid the growing anticipation, to meet the increasing demand for shows, cinema halls have even decided to operate 24 hours to accommodate the surge, and start shows as early as 2 AM in cities like Mumbai and Thane. Ahead of its much-anticipated premiere on March 19, 2026, here are things fans can expect from Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.

Dhurandhar 2 is expected to dive deeper into the character of Jaskirat Singh, and unravel the mysteries surrounding his past, the personal losses and turning points that drove him into spying in Pakistan.
R. Madhavan, aka Ajay Sayal's character arc, will also be explored more in depth in Dhurandhar 2 as he trains Ranveer’s character in the skills of espionage warfare.
Hamza Ali Mazari will take over the reins of Lyari, emerging as Lyari ka Badshah after the death of Rahman Dakait. The second instalment will show his rise as the King as he takes on the kingdom. He will also have his own song like FA9LA in part 2.
Towards the end of part 1, Arjun Rampal, aka ISI agent Major Iqbal, was seen ordering more arms and ammunition from Balochistan to prepare for another attack in India on August 15. The sequel will show how he prepares for the attack.
Dhurandhar 2 will also witness an epic clash between Arjun Rampal's ISI Major Iqbal and Ranveer Singh's Hamza Ali Mazari.
In the second part of Dhurandhar, Hamza Ali Mazari will probably be seen avenging the 26/11 terror attacks by destroying all those who were behind the attack. In the first instalment, he already killed Rahman Dakait and will now kill the others.
Fellow mobster and friend, Danish Pandor aka Uzair Baloch, will learn about Hamza's real identity and betrayal in part 2.
Sara Arjun's Yalina will witness a drastic transformation in Dhurandhar 2. Innocent yet headstrong, Yalina's reaction to Ranveer's betrayal will be worth seeing.
Sanjay Dutt returns as SP Chaudhary Aslam, inspired by the real-life controversial Pakistani encounter specialist Chaudhary Aslam Khan. His character, an aggressive high-ranking police officer who follows no protocols whatsoever, will do his job by taking on Lyari's gangs, but this time he faces Hamza.
Akshaye Khanna could return as Rehman Dakait, but not actively, given his death in part 1. Dhurandhar 2 could show flashbacks of Akshaye as Hamza takes on his reins.
The mystery around the identity of Bade Sahab will also be revealed in Dhurandhar 2. Part 1 has many mentions of ‘bade sahab’ when talking about their big plans of attacks on India, which will be unveiled.
Yami Gautam is expected to have a significant cameo in Dhurandhar 2, bringing a crossover of Aditya Dhar's films, Dhurandhar and Uri: The Surgical Strike. Reports also suggest Vicky Kaushal's cameo in the sequel.
