Cinema has often portrayed stories that show a mirror to society, reflecting the uncomfortable but real scenarios. Several times, outspoken and bold women are not believed about assault and the injustice they face due to society's prejudice. Films and web series have shown such cases, highlighting victim-blaming, systemic cover-ups, and the power dynamics that protect abusers.
