After months of speculations, Actress Kritika Kamra and cricket host Gaurav Kapur confirmed their relationship after she shared breakfast-date photos on Instagram.
Kritika, 37, born October 25, 1988, in Bareilly, and Gaurav, 44, born April 11, 1981, in Delhi, share a seven-year age gap. The couple, reportedly dating for a few months, have often been spotted dining at popular Bandra restaurants.
Born in New Delhi on 11 April 1981, Gaurav Kapur completed his schooling at Mount St. Mary's School in New Delhi. For his higher education, he attended Sri Venkateswara College.
At just 17, he started his career by hosting a travel show called Indian Holiday on Sony Television with Anu Malhotra and Mini Mathur. He later worked as a VJ on Channel V.
Kapur made his acting debut in 2004 with the comedy film Chai Pani Etc. and went on to appear in films like Sssshhh…, Bad Luck Govind, A Wednesday, and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag.
After an unsuccessful acting career, he continued hosting and rose to fame by hosting shows like Extraaa Innings T20, Cricbuzz Live, and his YouTube show Breakfast with Champions.
Gaurav Kapur was earlier married to actress Kirat Bhattal. The former couple tied the knot on November 3, 2014, in Chandigarh in a private ceremony.
However, after 7 years of marriage, they got separated in 2021. Reports at the time suggested the divorce was peaceful, without signs of conflict or public disagreement between the two.
In fact, neither Gaurav nor his ex-wife, Kirat, ever talked about their separation in the media. Talking about Kiran, she is a known actress down south and has worked in prominent Tamil and Kannada films.
