Amid the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) led protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, the Mumbai students' protests, on Wednesday, July 22, reportedly witnessed over 1,500 demonstrators taking to the streets against the NEET paper leak. Several celebrities also joined the protest that took place amid the Mumbai rains at Dadar's Shivaji Park.

Earlier in the evening, Dhurandhar fame Ayesha Khan shared on Instagram that she was detained by the Mumbai Police for standing on the road before the protests could begin.
Uorfi Javed
Uorfi Javed shared that she along with her sisters Dolly and Asfi, also reached Dadar to participate in the protests, but turned back after they saw the police detain several people for simply standing on the road.

Gurfateh Pirzada and Pratibha Ranta were seen joining the protests earlier on July 21.
