Reportedly, Karina grew up in the Carlisle and Wetheral areas of Cumbria, UK, where she spent her formative years. She is said to be of Lithuanian descent and also shares cultural ties with Greece.

Karina’s mother, Jovita Kubiliene-Thompson, runs a hospitality business in Cumbria, while her father, David Thompson, is actively involved in managing the family enterprise.

According to the media reports, Karina has attended Scotby Primary School, moved on to higher education at Carlisle College.

In 2019, Karina was recognised for winning a doughnut design competition during a fundraiser at Scotby Primary School. She's been active in cheerleading and has shown interest in sports throughout her college years.

Karina came to limelight after Reddit users highlighted supposed links between Karina and Kartik, including matching backgrounds, towel patterns, and angles in their beach photographs. 

Further fuelling the rumours, some online users claimed that Kartik was following Karina on Instagram until their photos attracted public attention.

Reacting to the dating claims, in a new screenshot shared by a fan she commented under the post, “I’m not his gffff!!! Lois bro stfu.”

She updated her Instagram bio, putting a full stop to the ongoing chatter. Karina wrote in her Instagram bio, "I don't know Kartik, I'm not his gf, I'm on holiday with my family."

While Karina seems to be a private person, the chatter surged up her following and looks like she loves to travel and shares stunning snapshots from her gateways.

Soon after the rumours went viral, Kartik, 35, faced flak for dating a teenager. To note, Karina will turn 18 in June this year.

While Karina has turned off her comment session and reacted to claims, Kartik is yet to respond.
