Kirat Bhattal was born January 26, 1985 in Monrovia, Liberia. She completed her education at the Lawrence School, Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh.

Kirat started her career with modelling projects. She signed up to do the project Desiya Nedunchalai 47 with Dhanush, but the project was delayed and later cancelled.

As the film had remained inactive for about three months, Bhattal had signed onto a Kannada language movie titled Geleya opposite Prajwal Devaraj, which was declared a hit.

She did a guest role in the film Santosh Subramaniam, which is a remake of the Telugu language film Bommarillu, which stars Genelia and Jayam Ravi. She has got rave reviews for her role in the film.

Kirat was a travel and lifestyle presenter on television in addition to her involvement in movies. The 2013 series Life Mein Ek Baar-When Angels Dare was presented by Kirat.

Later, Kirat starred in two seasons of Fox Traveller's Style and the City. In 2016, Kirat was the lead singer of Nat Geo Covershot: Heritage City.

As reported by Bollywood Shaadis, Kirat and Gaurav met for the first time in 2012 and fell in love with each other. They dated for a couple of years and then tied the knot in 2014 in a grand Punjabi wedding.

Gaurav and Kirat parted ways in 2021. It was reported that they had an amicable divorce with mutual separation. However, no specific reason for their split was ever revealed.

Neither Gaurav nor his ex-wife, Kirat, ever talked about their separation in the media or shared a press statement. It is also claimed that the two simply grow apart and had a quiet divorce.

Gaurav recently tied the knot with popular actress Kritika Kamra in an intimate ceremony at his Bandra residence. The festivities were attended by his close friends from cricket world.

The made their relationship official last year in November and since their, they have been sharing updates about their love life.

They are now set to host a reception for their industry friends on March 12.
