Deepika Padukone features in top 2 films released on R-Day weekend in past decade

The Republic Day weekend is a goldmine for film releases. Looking at the box office performances of Republic Day weekend releases in the past decade, SRK`s Pathaan and Deepika Padukone`s Padmaavat occupy the top two spots. While Pathaan earned Rs 57 cr, the latter got an opening of Rs 24 cr . Both films feature Deepika and were released on Jan 25 of different years.
