'Gravity' tops weekend box office charts with USD 55.55 mln earnings

Twentieth Century Fox's ‘Runner Runner,' featuring Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake, opened in third place with 7.6 million dollars, while Warner Bros.' ‘Prisoners' was placed on the fourth position, followed by Chris Hemsworth starrer ‘Rush', whereas ‘Don Jon' secured sixth place with 4.16 million dollars.
