Law enforcement sources have revealed to TMZ.com that the cops came to Richards and inquired her about a child abuse claim lodged by Mueller.

The âWild Things' star didn't let the cops in as her daughters were inside and claimed that Mueller's claim was "ridiculous" and "vindictive".
The boys had apparently complained to their psychologist that they were "hit" by a male member of the 42-year-old actress's staff, and the psychologist then reported it to child welfare officials.

However, a source has claimed that Mueller had nothing to do with lodging complain to the cops and that she wants everything to go as smoothly as possible.
