I have never tried to be as beautiful as I can be, says Salma Hayek

The sultry screen star revealed in the July issue of InStyle magazine, that she knows people have always thought she is beautiful, but she has never tried to be as beautiful as she can be, the New York Daily News reported.

The 47-year-old actress asserted that she could make bigger efforts to look stunning but her first priority in life has never been beauty and that's because of a rebellious spirit in her.

She insisted that there is more to her than looks.

Although Hayek, who is married to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, said that she does try to look attractive for her husband.u00a0
