Paris: Singer Perrie Edwards slapped a radio disc jockey (DJ) after he revealed that he dumped his partner by sending a text message.

Singer Zayn Malik had dumped Edwards with a text message last year.

A French radio station host jokingly told Edwards -- through the help of a translator -- that he had done the same thing to a former lover.

She turned and swung for the DJ, slapping him in the face. The crowd started to chant her name as the broadcaster looked stunned, reports mirror.co.uk.

Edwards soon started giggling and shaking her head as she turned around.
