Washington: Pharrell Williams has revealed that his new album 'G I R L' was made to support women empowerment because they still suffer equality issues.

The 'Happy' hitmaker said that he is in love with all the women because every single female is magical but according to him men do not truly appreciate them, Contactmusic reported.
Williams added that once in a month, women go through something that men will never understand and if women wanted to, then they could cripple the economy by not going to work and stay at home during those days, and he hopes his album sparks a debate on the same topic.
