Marvel Studios has dropped an all-new trailer and poster for Avengers: Doomsday ahead of the highly anticipated December 18 theatrical release. After months of anticipation and speculation, the makers have finally dropped a star-studded trailer, offering fans their first thrilling look at the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Avengers: Doomsday has been highly anticipated, especially since it marks the much-awaited return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU. He is set to return, but in a stunning twist, as the formidable Doctor Doom. The film also features the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, promising an epic battle that will redefine the future of the franchise.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the visionary duo behind Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Doomsday brings together generations of Marvel icons in what appears to be one of the biggest cinematic events in history. The film trailer sees Steve Rogers alongside Thor, along with fan-favourite X-Men characters joining in the battle, including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto and James Marsden as Cyclops. Additionally, the Fantastic Four are also set to play a pivotal role.
In Avengers: Doomsday, the beloved heroes from three distinct universes of Marvel will be set on a deadly collision course as they together face an existential threat unlike anything they have ever encountered.
Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday is helmed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz. It includes a star-studded ensemble of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, with Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
Avengers: Doomsday is all set to release exclusively in theatres across India on December 18, 2026, in premium formats. The film will be available in four languages in the country, namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
