Actress Cameron Diaz surprised fans by announcing that she has welcomed her third baby with husband Benji Madden. The 47-year-old Good Charlotte rocker took to social media on Monday to announce the birth of their son and his name.
Benji took to Instagram to announce the news with an image of a ship along with the message, "Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden." "Welcome to the world Son!!," he added. He further expressed, "We love life with our family- our kids are healthy and happy, and we are grateful!!! having a blast."
In the comments section, Cameron Diaz replied with five heart emojis. Meanwhile, Benji's post also included a meaning behind the name, which explained, "Sailor, navigator, voyager. One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown."
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden tied the knot in 2015 and are already parents to daughter Raddix (6), and son Cardinal (2). The famous pair, who are known to keep their lives private, have largely kept their family life out of the spotlight. However, they occasionally share updates with fans.
The news of their third child comes just over a year after Diaz made her Hollywood comeback in Netflix's Back in Action. The actress took a decade-long acting hiatus in 2014, a period she has often described as the "best" of her life. "I was just free to just say, âI'm a mom, I'm a wife, I'm living my life,'" Cameron Diaz said on The Graham Norton Show last year.
The couple have welcomed their third child almost two years after the Any Given Sunday star revealed insights into her years-long relationship with husband Benji Madden, sharing the key to their romance.
"The thing that I'm most grateful for in my life is our marriage and our family. You know how much we've grown over the last decade together and how much we've accomplished. I don't know how either one of us would have done that without one another," Cameron told Benji's twin brother Joel Madden on his Artist Friendly podcast back in 2024.
