Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are parents now! The couple have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The couple shared the news on Monday, revealing that their daughter was born three weeks ago. Sprouse and Palvin, who married in Hungary in 2023, had announced their pregnancy earlier this year during their appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
On Monday, September 28, the couple revealed that they had welcomed their baby girl three weeks earlier, seemingly on Labor Day, September 7. In a joint Instagram post, they shared a photo of themselves holding their infant daughter between them, joking, "We took Labor Day literally this year."
During the debut episode of Sprouse's new podcast, Wildmen, the 33-year-old actor revealed that he and his pregnant wife were expecting a baby girl. During the podcast, Palvin asked her husband, "Do you want to share?" The Riverdale actor revealed they were having a girl, saying, "Yeah, we've been calling her principessa." Sprouse then added, "Which I don't know why that's been our like... well, it's Italian for princess."
He further continued, "But no, we are having a baby girl, which I'm very excited about. I'm excited to be a girl dad, actually."
Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin met at a party in 2017. Later, the former Disney Channel star and Victoria's Secret Angel started dating in June 2018. Soon after, Palvin opened up about her relationship to Vogue Australia in November 2018, saying she was "very much in love right now. I feel like I found the perfect guy. He's very kind and gentle."
The couple confirmed their engagement in June 2023 and walked down the aisle a month later in a ceremony in Hungary.
Back in May 2026, Sprouse and Palvin announced that they were expecting their first baby together during their appearance at the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. The couple posed together in a few photos on the red carpet while attending the festival. Palvin was seen in a light blue dress featuring cap sleeves and a feather skirt.
Last August, Palvin also shared details about undergoing surgery for endometriosis. In an Instagram post, she spoke about struggling for years with symptoms including "fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow" and "sleepless nights on the bathroom floor." Palvin said she learned that "endometriosis can't be diagnosed with general examinations," despite regularly visiting her gynecologist for yearly checkups.
