The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has disapproved a Sin City: A Dame to Kill movie poster featuring amply-charmed Eva Green in a sheer dressing gown.

According to them, the ratings board was offended by the 'curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.'

Dimension Film executives are reportedly 'working on a compromise with the MPAA' before the sequel opens on August 22.

Eva famously bared her breasts during her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers back in 2003. The actress beat director Robert Rodriguez's first choice Angelina Jolie as well as Salma Hayek, Rose McGowan, and Rachel Weisz to score the role of Ava Lord.

Emma - who also worked on Frank Miller's 300: Rise of an Empire - will co-star with ex-boyfriend Marton Csokas in the upcoming film.
