Jessica Alba finds the whole idea of dieting boring

Jessica Alba might be one of the yummiest mommies in Hollywood but the American actress thinks diets are "boring" and it's something she prefers not to be a part of.

The 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' star - who has two children, Honor (6) and Haven (3) with Cash Warren - believes that life is "too short" for giving up her favourite foods before admitting that she loves candy. "I think diets are boring and life's too short to deprive yourself. I can't get through a meeting without candy," admits Alba.

However, the 33-year-old actress found exercise "brutal" when she was younger but loves it now because it means she can have some alone time. "I didn't appreciate working out when I was in my 20s. It was purely for work, and I hated it so much. It was just brutal. Now I enjoy it, because it's ‘me' time and a stress-reliever."
