JK Rowling wins permission to build Hogwarts-style tree houses

The Harry Potter creator applied for permission for the 250,000-pound structures as part of renovations at her Edinburgh mansion.u00a0Neighbours objected after the plans were put to the city council last month but officials have now given the go-ahead, the Daily Express reported.

The writer's nine-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter will each get a two-storey house, almost 40ft high, with secret tunnels and bay windows.
