During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Kate Winslet revealed a bizarre encounter she had with rapper Eminem over 20 years ago. The Hollywood star made a big revelation about the music icon Eminem that dated back to 2004, asserting that she had never disclosed this story before.

"This is a story I've never, never told," the Sense and Sensibility actress reiterated in her narration, explaining that when she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2004, Eminem was the musical guest for the October 30 episode that year.

"Will you shave my butt?"

Finally lifting her silence on the strange request, the actress revealed, "Eminem asked me to shave his bottom," prompting host Graham Norton to ask, "Was it a hand-held razor?"

Kate Winslet reiterated her statement, "Well, he did." Insisting, she said, "He(Eminem) said, ‘Will you shave my butt?' and I said, ‘I'm sorry, I don't do personal grooming.' Like what?"

She added, "I'm not going to go in with a Bic and get your crack love. Honestly! I have never told that story before ever in my life in public. There you go!"

In the last 20 years since this incident, Kate Winslet hasn't returned to host SNL. However, this might not be the sole reason. Previously, the Titanic star had revealed that she had only 24 hours to prepare for SNL, in which she had to "sing and tap dance." At that time, she was busy with promoting the 2004 movie Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp.

Kate Winslet's Lee premieres in India

Kate Winslet's biographical war drama Lee premiered in India on Lionsgate Play on 6 December.

Set during the upheaval of World War II, Lee follows the extraordinary journey of Lee Miller, a former fashion model who traded fame and comfort for a place among the most fearless war correspondents of her time.

The film does not look away from the devastation of war, but it also captures the fleeting human moments that survive within it. It is a portrait of strength, vulnerability, and the uneasy clarity that comes from seeing too much.

Featuring standout performances from Alexander Skarsgård, Marion Cotillard, Josh O'Connor, Andrea Riseborough, Noémie Merlant, Samuel Barnett, and Andy Samberg alongside Kate, the film weaves a richly layered depiction of the world Miller inhabited, shaped by the collision of art, politics, love, and violence.
