Kylie Minogue to play saucy man-eater in new show

He was stunned when she agreed to do the Sky Arts Playhouse Presents play, which is about rivalry backstage in a theatre.

"The production company were saying, ‘Don't be ridiculous, she'll never do it.' But I rang her. I thought maybe she would like to play a sort of sexually voracious man-eater, which she quite truly isn't," he said.

Eventually he got a call from Warren saying, Kylie's doing it.
