Elizabeth Olsen has quietly stepped into a new chapter of her life. The WandaVision star and her husband, musician Robbie Arnett, have welcomed their first child together, according to reports.
Olsen, 37, was recently photographed in Los Angeles carrying a newborn in a white baby carrier, seemingly confirming that the couple has become parents. The actress and Arnett have not publicly shared details about their baby, including the child's name or date of birth.
Representatives for Olsen have also not publicly commented on the reports, keeping the arrival in line with the couple's famously low-key approach to their personal lives. Olsen's pregnancy was first confirmed in June after the actress was spotted having lunch at a Los Angeles restaurant. She was photographed wearing a white button-down shirt that was open at the bottom, revealing her baby bump as she held her stomach.
By early August, Olsen was reportedly seen in Southern California without a visible bump. Days later, photos of the actress with a newborn emerged, suggesting that she had already welcomed her first child.
The actor has generally kept her relationship and family life away from the spotlight, making the quiet arrival hardly surprising for fans familiar with her approach to fame.
Olsen and Arnett began dating in 2017 and got engaged in July 2019 after around three years together. The couple later eloped sometime before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, before eventually confirming their marriage publicly.
The couple's preference for privacy extends to their idea of spending quality time together. Speaking to PEOPLE in November 2025, Olsen described herself and Arnett as more introverted than extroverted. For the actress, a perfect date night isn't necessarily about red carpets or fancy restaurants. When they're in a busy city such as Los Angeles, her "dream date" is simply cooking a meal at home and watching a movie.
Olsen has also spoken warmly about her relationship with Arnett, who is the frontman of the indie-pop band Milo Greene. While the couple has yet to reveal more about their new addition, Olsen's latest photographs mark a major milestone for the pair. The actress is now balancing motherhood with a career that has included her acclaimed turn as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel universe, as well as projects outside the superhero franchise.
For now, however, it appears Olsen and Arnett are keeping their newest role as parents just as private and personal as the rest of their relationship.
