Michael Douglas to retire?

Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas is undergoing chemotherapy five days a week to cure the walnut-sized tumor at the base of his tongue. Although doctors anticipate the actor to make a complete recovery, medical experts have warned he may never act again, as the invasive combination of radiation and chemotherapy may result in him losing his voice.

This is might be a huge disappointment for Michael's fans as Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which releases worldwide on September 24, could well be his last film! Douglas entirely faults smoking and drinking for his throat cancer. He said he was diagnosed three weeks ago.
