For Priyanka Chopra, performing action sequences gives her a high. Having performed her own stunts for her US television series, 'Quantico', the actress was keen to do it again for her debut Hollywood outing, 'Baywatch'. However, just days before she was to shoot the action scene in Miami, she suffered a minor back injury but remained undeterred.
A unit hand says, "The scene with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson demanded high flying kicks and punches, and she refused to use a stunt double for that."

Priyanka features in six major action sequences in the film. Her stunts required her to work on agility, but having attempted tough stunts for Quantico, she was rather relaxed about it.
While PeeCee remained unavailable for a comment, her spokesperson said, "Priyanka preferred doing her own stunts since she even shoots her action scenes in Quantico minus a body double."
