Separation from Catherine Zeta-Jones isn't end of marriage, says Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas is very optimistic about his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones, saying that separation doesn't mean the end of a marriage.


The ‘Basic Instincts' star said on ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' that he has been away for a while, but he is hopeful that everything between him and the 44-year-old actress would be "on the up and up", the Mirror reported.

The 69-year-old actor said that sometimes people take a little bit of a break, but it doesn't generally mean that they will break up.

Douglas had earlier revealed that he was doing great and things between the actress and him are looking "onwards and upwards".

The pair is planning to reunite next month for Thanksgiving in the US.u00a0
