Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner, have welcomed their first child together. The couple announced the arrival of their baby girl, Lennon Taylor, on social media, sharing a glimpse of their newborn daughter. Lovingly nicknamed Lenny, the little one was born on September 16, marking a new chapter for the couple.
The couple announced in a joint post on their Instagrams on Wednesday, Sept. 23, that they've welcomed their first child together. Taylor and Tay shared a photo of their daughter, whom they called "Lenny," in a pink onesie, lying next to a needlepoint that revealed her name. "Lennon Taylor" was stitched underneath an image of a teddy bear holding a pink balloon.
"One week loving our sweet little Lenny. Lennon Taylor Lautner 9.16.2026," they wrote in their caption. The couple, who share the same name, have given their baby girl their name as well.
Taylor and Tay began dating in 2018 and married in November 2022. They announced their pregnancy in March 2026 and revealed in June that they are expecting a baby girl. The couple marked the milestone with a dreamy baby shower.
Shortly after their initial announcement, Tay shared on an April episode of her podcast, The Squeeze, that she was "scared" about sharing her pregnancy with the public. During an appearance on the Unplanned Podcast in June, Tay recalled how her privacy was affected on her 2022 wedding day. She said a photographer used a long lens to capture pictures of her and Taylor from across the road, which were published online the following day. "I cried; it was rough," she recalled.
Taylor and Tay have shared aspects of their relationship publicly since their marriage, often posting updates on social media.
Taylor rose to global fame for his role as Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga, becoming one of the franchise's most recognisable stars. Before his breakout, he began as a child actor, appearing in family films such as The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and developing skills in martial arts, which informed many of his early roles. He later took on lead roles in projects including Abduction, aiming to transition into action-driven films.
