Evanna Lynch, best known for playing Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series, said “I do” to French gardener Denis Skinner in London on Friday, August 21.
The couple exchanged vows at Islington Town Hall in a “very sweet and simple” ceremony attended by 20 loved ones before celebrating at the historic Wilton’s Music Hall.
For their wedding date, Lynch consulted a Vedic astrologer, who advised avoiding a solar eclipse. They eventually settled on August 21 after their preferred August 22 date was unavailable at Wilton’s Music Hall.
For the big day, Lynch opted for a dramatic bridal ensemble featuring a cloud-like vintage skirt from Effy Turner, paired with a structured Moira Hughes corset. While Skinner opted for green corduroy tailoring.
