Shruti and her father Kamal Haasan are taking off for the US for the shoot of their film, Sabaash Naidu, which is being made in Tamil and Telugu.

Directed by Rajeev Kumar, the two are playing father-daughter for the first time in a film.
The actress recently tweeted: "All set to head to Los Angeles! Excited to begin the new project with my father and excited to go back to sunny California... Gearing up for a super duper hectic two to three months ahead! Work mode in high gear!" Buzz is that Shruti is nervous to share screen space with her dad.
