Launching the blog on the New Year day, the actor dismissed rumours that the blog was a prelude to his entry into politics. His outbursts on political issues and his political affiliations have been topics of discussion in Kerala. (He is the chairman of Kairali TV, the ruling CPM-owned television channel in Kerala.)u00a0

Grist for the rumour mill
Just in case you suspected a ghostwriter's hand behind the well-written post on the blog, here's what Mammootty fans and netizens say. "I expect some original writing given that he has a law degree and was a practicing lawyer before he turned to acting," says a blogger.u00a0u00a0
But blogger Mani Karthik wonders why the actor opted for a blogspot and not a domain of his own like stars such as Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.u00a0u00a0
