Ajith Kumar
On Tuesday, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar visited the Tirumala temple for darshan. Pictures and videos of the actor's visit have been doing the rounds on social media. Seeing Ajith at the temple, several fans were heard screaming to get his attention. However, the actor silenced them all with just one simple gesture.
In a viral video, Ajith can be seen walking inside the temple premises with his team after the darshan. He was dressed in a traditional white mundu and shirt for the occasion. When fans spotted him, they began shouting "Thala!" to grab his attention. While the actor initially smiled at them, he soon gestured for them to lower their voices and not scream. He was heard mouthing "Ithu kovilam" (This is a temple), urging everyone to maintain the sanctity of the place. Using his finger, he signalled for silence, and the fans promptly calmed down.
In another video, Ajith was seen walking with his team as fans crowded around him for selfies. He politely declined as they were still inside the temple. However, when hearing- and speech-impaired fans approached him, Ajith graciously posed for a picture with them.
Apart from his film career, Ajith has also been deeply involved in professional racing. His team, Ajith Kumar Racing, has made the country proud by participating in several prestigious international racing championships and winning numerous accolades. The team recently announced the conclusion of its racing season with a heartfelt note of gratitude.
Ajith Kumar Racing took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to share the message marking the end of the season.
In the note, Ajith wrote, "We could write countless stories from this incredible year, but that's for another day. What matters most is that we grew stronger with every lap and every challenge. This is only the beginning."
The team highlighted that behind every race weekend were countless hours of preparation, setbacks, and moments of quiet determination. It further acknowledged the challenges faced, stating that there were moments of heartbreak, mechanical failures, and missed opportunities, but each setback became a stepping stone toward greater strength and understanding of international racing standards.
Ajith Kumar Racing's debut year was filled with milestones - it became the first Indian team to race full-time across multiple European and Middle Eastern endurance series, and the year also marked the team's first international podium finish.
"As our first season concludes, we stand not just as a team that competed - but as a team that evolved," the statement read.
