A private hospital in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh played Baahubali while doctors performed a brain surgery. Reportedly, the doctors are now referring to it as the Baahubali brain surgery. Vinaya Kumari, working as a nurse, suffered fits and was later detected with brain tumour.

On September 21, she was operated on at the Tulasi Multi-Speciality Hospital in Guntur. As it was important for the patient to remain conscious, the doctors decided to screen the Prabhas-starrer on a laptop to keep her awake. The doctors who performed the surgery credited the film for its success. Baahubali's wonders don't seem to cease.
