The couple's wedding was confirmed by Telangana CM earlier today, along with details of the reception that will be held in Chennai on November 21, 2026. Now the invites have been extended to PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, among others. Meanwhile, a handwritten invite by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, revealing the date and venue, is going viral.
Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran's wedding reception is set to be held in Chennai on November 21, 2026. Kavya's parents, Kalanithi Maran and Kavery Maran, have been personally meeting dignitaries and inviting them for their daughter's wedding. Pictures of them meeting India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, have since been going viral on social media.
Similarly, the wedding invitation shared by Sun News on social media included former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's invite, which confirmed the date, time and venue of the reception.
The invitation read, "November 21, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the wedding of Kavya Kalanithi Maran - my beloved granddaughter, great-granddaughter of the great scholar of Tamil, Kalaignar, granddaughter of Mallika and Murasoli Maran, and the cherished daughter of Kavery and Kalanithi Maran - will take place in ITC Grand Chola."
The invite ended with a request to bless the couple. While the reception details have been shared on the invite, the date of the wedding ceremony is not officially announced. According to reports circulating online, Anirudh and Kavya are expected to exchange vows in Greece on November 10.
The news of Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran's wedding was confirmed by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He shared pictures of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, inviting him for their daughter's reception. They met CM Revanth at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The wedding confirmation puts an end to year-long speculation surrounding their relationship and marriage.
