The live video began with Asif Ali talking about the intention behind the video. He said that they owe it to the audience, who were keenly awaiting the film's release, to explain the unexpected delay. The director, who makes his debut with 'Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali', said that they were all set to release the film on April 17 and had proceeded with the promotions accordingly. He further addressed the financial allegations against the team and said that they will fight it in court.
The makers said that the film is currently stuck in a legal tussle after the previous producer filed a financial fraud case against the current producer. However, Salam dismissed the case as false. He said that the previous producer is "blackmailing" them and demanding a large sum of money that was never taken from the complainant.
"When someone insists that money be returned without having paid anything in the first place, it can only be called blackmail," Salam said.
"These false complaints have prompted me to go to the Supreme Court," he added.
The director also stood by his producer and said that neither he nor anyone from the film's production took any money from the previous producer.
The producer further said that the film has been delayed twice due to legal hurdles, but he, along with director Sethu, is confident they will be able to release the film in the coming month.
Asif Ali, the lead actor of the film, expressed disappointment at the situation and said that the whole incident has left the team of 'Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali' distressed.
