Ever since its announcement, the film has generated tremendous excitement among audiences, making it one of the most talked-about upcoming releases. Adding to the growing anticipation, Prabhas has now announced the film's release date - December 3, 2026 - with a striking poster.

Taking to social media, Prabhas unveiled a stunning poster in which he is seen drenched in blood, sitting atop a rock with dead bodies all around him while holding a gun. The makers also announced the film's release date. Bearing the tagline, "A Battalion Who Fights Alone," the poster offers a glimpse into the film's intense world. He shared it with the caption: "अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026."

Fauzi marks Prabhas' return to a grand period drama after Baahubali, promising an emotional and visually breathtaking cinematic experience. Touted as the most ambitious film ever from Mythri Movie Makers, the project brings together an extraordinary team - Prabhas, Mythri Movie Makers (the makers of Pushpa), and director Hanu Raghavapudi (Sita Ramam) - a collaboration being celebrated as "a union of generations" in Indian cinema.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Bhushan Kumar. It is set for a worldwide release on December 3, 2026. The film also stars debutante Imanvi alongside veterans Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty.

Notably, this update comes after Fauzi made headlines following a tragic incident on the sets. Rajesh Sharma was hospitalised after suffering an insect bite during the shoot of Prabhas' upcoming film, following which he developed a high-grade fever, breathlessness, and discomfort. The information was initially shared by actor Sudipa Chatterjee.

On the work front, Prabhas is also gearing up for the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit. The dark and gripping action thriller features Prabhas as an honest and powerful police officer. It also stars Triptii Dimri and is slated for release on March 5, 2027. Prabhas will also reprise his dual roles of Bhairava and Karna in Kalki 2. Additionally, he has Salaar 2 in his lineup.
