Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress remained tight-lipped about the film's plot and her character. However, she couldn't contain her excitement about being part of the ambitious project and showered praise on its scale and creative vision. "It's a mammoth production, and it was great to collaborate with a star of Yash's magnitude and a director of Geetu Mohandas' calibre. Sharing her insight from set, she quipped, "They have created something beautiful and exceptional, and it will be well worth the wait."

The Jolly LLB 2 actress further added that she is keen to take up more South projects, but she is waiting for the right opportunities. "I want to work more frequently in the South, but as yet, nothing really exciting has come up," she said.

About Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been co-written by the superstar Yash himself. The film is said to be an unconventional gangster drama with a fantastical narrative twist, with Huma playing the antagonist. Boasting an ensemble cast featuring Yash, Tovino Thomas, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Sudev Nair, and Akshay Oberoi, the film has generated a lot of buzz.

Toxic is the first-ever large-scale Indian film to be conceptualized, written, and filmed in both English and Kannada, paving the way for a truly global film experience. The release of Toxic lands right in the heart of a major festive frame - coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid - creating a high-impact four-day window at the box office.
