Dulquer Salmaan
The first look at Dulquer Salmaan's much-anticipated Malayalam comeback flick, I'm Game, is now available. The makers released the poster on November 28th, and it portrays Dulquer Salmaan in a suited avatar, ready to carry on a mission while brandishing a gun. Nahas Hidhayath, who made his breakthrough with the popular film RDX, is directing the picture. Dulquer is co-producing it with Jom Varghese under the name Wayfarer Films.
Dulquer Salmaan used social media to share the first look, writing, "Homecoming." The film marks Dulquer Salmaan's major Mollywood comeback following the lacklustre reaction of his previous film, King Of Kotha, which failed to create an impact at the box office.
Speaking about the project, director Nahas stated that he, too, hopes to see Dulquer Salmaan in a Malayalam film soon. 'I, too, am waiting in theatres. We're attempting to give the audience exactly what they want. I hope it turns out the same way. "All of us are working hard." He also revealed that the production is moving on with big action sequences and violent moments. Apart from that, Dulquer Salmaan spoke openly about his role. Dulquer Salmaan previously spoke with Baradwaj Rangan and provided insights on his part. He stated, "In my upcoming film I'm Game, I portray a really current and cool role. It's not a retro-style film, and you'll all really appreciate it."
Speaking at an event for his film Kaantha, Dulquer Salmaan admits that he hasn't done any Malayalam films in two years, but promises that I'm Game would make up for it by meeting and even exceeding the audience's expectations. The actor is currently shooting the film in and around Kochi.
Cricket is integral to the storyline in I'm Game, which is billed as a mass entertainment film. In addition to Dulquer, Antony Varghese Pepe plays a crucial role in the film. Tamil filmmaker Mysskin is making his acting debut in Malayalam as the antagonist. It also stars Tamil actor Kathir, who was previously seen in Malayalam in Meesha, and Katchi Sera's Samyuktha Viswanathan.
