Jr NTR's team issues statement to clarify rumours of RRR actor entering politics

Jr NTR has put an end to speculation surrounding his political future, making it clear that he has no plans to enter politics or follow in the footsteps of his legendary grandfather, N.T. Rama Rao. The actor addressed the rumours during the promotional event of his upcoming film Ooru Vaada, stressing that his complete focus remains on cinema.

Jr NTR's team issues a statement to clarify

For years, Jr NTR has been linked with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), founded by his grandfather N.T. Rama Rao. While he had campaigned for the party during the 2009 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, he has largely stayed away from active politics since then, leading to constant speculation about a possible comeback.

The team shared an official statement, "It has come to our attention that an organisation operating under the name RAW NTR is carrying out activities that may create an impression of being associated with Mr NTR. Any charitable initiative, public welfare activity, official communication, or association involving Mr NTR will be communicated only through Mr NTR or his official team. This shall be our final communication on this subject. We sincerely hope this clarification puts an end to all ongoing rumours and speculation."

This clarification comes amid renewed buzz over whether he would eventually join the Telugu Desam Party and take forward NTR's political legacy. The rumours intensified in recent months after his interactions with political leaders and the continued public interest in his family's association with the party.

Despite the persistent speculation, the RRR star maintained that he is committed to his work as an actor and has no intention of entering electoral politics.

On the professional front, Jr NTR has a packed slate of projects. He will next be seen in Ooru Vaada, one of the most anticipated Telugu releases. The actor is also gearing up for his Bollywood debut in War 2, where he stars alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
