Jr NTR and Rishab Shetty
Rishab Shetty is gearing up for the release of Kantara Chapter 1. He is actively promoting the film and kickstarted promotions in Hyderabad. The event was graced by RRR star Jr NTR, leaving Rishab Shetty overwhelmed. NTR attended despite a severe injury and was even seen experiencing discomfort due to pain. Not only this, he even refused to hug a fan at the event.
A video shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram shows Jr NTR clutching his ribs while seated on a sofa at the event. Throughout the event, the actor was seen holding his side, looking uncomfortable, and even closing his eyes briefly in pain.
In another video, he was seen sharing the stage with the Kantara star cast. A fan managed to break through security and approached him for a hug and a selfie. The actor gently moved away, politely declining, as he was clearly in pain.
At the event, NTR praised Shetty and said the film would have been impossible without his efforts. He said, "There's no path to go to the temple there. They made one because they put up a set to shoot. It's humanly impossible. If it was not for Rishabh Sir, if it was not for the team that he believed in, I really don't think anything would've been possible for Kantara Chapter 1."
The actor sustained an injury while shooting for an advertisement. His team has now issued an official statement mentioning that he has been advised rest and requesting media to refrain from speculations.
On the work front, Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are teaming up for the first time with the tentatively titled Dragon (NTRNeel). Looking ahead, he is in talks with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for a movie. Apart from this, reports are rife that he will soon start shooting for Devara 2.
He was most recently seen in War 2, which marked his Bollywood debut. The Ayan Mukerji film pitted him against Hrithik Roshan and, despite a good response, it failed to strike gold at the box office.
