Ram Charan's Peddi has finally hit theatres, and the film is already receiving an enthusiastic response from audiences. As fans celebrate the release, megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media to shower praise on his son, applauding his dedication and transformation for the role. He also congratulated director Buchi Babu Sana and the entire team behind the much-awaited sports drama.
Chiranjeevi took to X and wrote, "Congratulations to our #PEDDI, my dear @AlwaysRamCharan, and the entire cast & crew on this incredible blockbuster!" He continued the note in Telugu, which roughly translates to, "Even though I am in Pollachi for the shoot, my heart is with âPeddi'. I have witnessed firsthand the hard work and dedication that Charan has put into this film over the past two years."
He continued, "Today, seeing the love and appreciation from the audience, I feel very proud not only as a father but also as an actor. The hard work, perseverance, and honesty that he put in to fully immerse himself in the role of âPeddi' are clearly visible in every scene. This success is the reward for that hard work."
Chiranjeevi also congratulated Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana for crafting and executing a compelling story while also praising producer Venkata Satish Kilaru for backing the film on a grand scale. He further lauded the performances of Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu and appreciated A.R. Rahman, cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, production designer Kolla Avinash, and editor Navin Nooli for their contributions to the film.

Apart from this, Ram Charan's wife, Upasana, watched Peddi with fans at a Hyderabad theatre on release day and shared her enthusiastic first reaction afterward. Delighted by the overwhelming response, she actively interacted with fans who had gathered to watch the film. After the screening, she took to social media to share her first reaction to the movie.
Talking about Peddi, the film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film also stars Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu. The film finally released on June 4. The film has Ram Charan playing a "crossover athlete" who excels in cricket, wrestling, and sprinting. As per the synopsis, in a rural village, a determined young man rises through fierce sporting contests, confronting rivalry, pride, and the weight of expectation.
